At Lunchinho, our story is deeply connected to the everyday joys and challenges of being moms and trying to balance it all while giving our kids the best. Like so many parents, we know the daily struggle of finding time to prepare meals that are both nutritious and exciting for our little ones—and we know all too well the guilty feeling that comes when we end up sending processed or sugary snacks to school because we’re short on time or energy.
As moms of two boys each, we’ve spent countless mornings trying to create lunchboxes that would make our kids smile and give them the fuel they need to grow. We quickly realized that we weren’t alone in this challenge. So many parents in our Ottawa community are juggling busy schedules, working hard to make healthy choices, and still feeling that occasional guilt when things don’t go as planned.
This shared experience became the heart and spark for Lunchinho. We wanted to create a service that makes life easier for parents while helping kids develop a love for nutritious, fun food. With my background as a chef, I bring passion for fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and creativity to each meal we make. Raissa, with her experience in education and business, ensures that our offerings are balanced, kid-friendly, and meaningful to both kids and parents alike. Together, we pour our hearts into crafting lunchboxes that bring both delight and good nutrition to the table.
